Only 80 km south of Vienna, Burg Feistritz is nestled in the green hills of the Wechselland. For many years, it has opened its doors to larger, closed groups looking for a private, cultivated and historic ambience for a shared experience.
Centuries of development, careful renovations and cultural wealth have influenced the fortress and turned it into an inviting and stately castle.
Charming historic rooms and a variety of beautiful, comfortable guest rooms invite creative gatherings, exchange of ideas, and collaborative endeavors. The old stone stairs of the arcade-adorned courtyard lead to the Knight’s Hall with a Bösendorfer grand piano, the castle chapel, terraces, studios, and seminar rooms as well as to the castle’s individual guest rooms and dining rooms accommodating up to 60 guests.

Weddings
Feistritz Castle offers a charming and unique setting to make your big day extra special. A selection of beautiful rooms and places are available for your ceremony, such as the festive Knights' Hall, the baroque castle chapel or the romantic castle park. The Old Riding School provides the atmospheric setting for large banquets and celebrations.
The two cavalier houses and the rooms and flats (up to 60 people) in the castle are available for overnight stays of your guests.
Old Riding School
The Old Riding School with its rustic beam structure was built in the early 19th century on the former tournament grounds. It offers a very large and atmospheric space for parties, workshops, exhibitions and concerts. Equipped with a large stage and catering facilities, the Old Riding School is also the venue for the annual Summer Music Festival.
Castle park & Garden
Feistritz Castle is surrounded by a charming historical park, which was designed in the early 19th century in the style of an English landscape garden. During your event, stroll through the park with its old trees, open green spaces, ponds, sculptures and various elements of romantic garden architecture.
Catering
Burg Feistritz als “catered castle”
Burg Feistritz specialises in accommodation for groups, where overnight stays are always offered with breakfast. Depending on the size and wishes of the group, catering from simple to festive meals can also be arranged.
Self-catering is possible in the two cavalier houses, which have well-equipped kitchens.
Burg & Kavalierhäuser
Übernachtungen auf Burg Feistritz sind für Gruppen bis zu 60 Personen in komfortablen Einzel- und Doppelzimmern möglich. Die Zimmer verteilen sich über die alte Burg und die zwei Kavaliershäuser. Neben der Alten Burg bzw. neben der Veranstaltungslocation ‘Reithalle’ stehen die beiden charmante Kavaliershäuser zur Verfügung, die viel Privatsphäre für kleine Seminare oder für Zusammenkünfte von Freunden und großen Familien bieten. Diese Häuser verfügen über geräumige Wohn- und/oder Arbeitsbereiche, gut ausgerüstete Küchen, sowie über private Terrassen mit freier Aussicht über die Ortschaft Feistritz am Wechsel.
