The simple farmhouse was built around 1890 for the foresters of the Counts of Helldorf. Originally known by its old Slovenian name, ‘Wigrednig,’ the estate is today lovingly referred to as ‘Waldgarten.’

A wonderful rustic kitchen has been installed in the former smoke kitchen, combining all the comforts of modern life with the classic charm of a traditional wood stove.

Three double rooms and a junior room with two beds are available for guests.

The ground floor comprises a kitchen, dining room, guest WC, a bedroom with shower, and a utility room with cloakroom. Upstairs, you’ll find a cozy living room, a large family bathroom with bathtub, shower, double sink, and WC, two double rooms, and the children’s room. A spacious entrance hall features a game table for the whole family.

In the garden, under the 200-year-old linden tree, our gazebo offers shade for a relaxing snack, lunch or simply a leisurely time outdoors.

The farm’s stable is home to five horses, which are cared for and visited 2–3 times a day. Guests can reach out to the owner at any time for advice or assistance.

Cycling, hiking, swimming, culture – everything is possible. Lake Klopein is only a 15-minute drive away, and as our guest, you have access to a beach cabin at Strandbad Bellevue.
