Switch off and dive into the magical, unspoilt nature of this landscape. Allow yourself to be enchanted by nature and fall in love with the luxury and peace of the exceptional ensemble in the middle of the forest. With its thick granite walls, this centuries-old building represents history, tradition and permanence.
My guests in the forester's house have a reception hall, a salon, two dining rooms, a living hall and four bedrooms with bathrooms ensuite at their disposal. For your events you can also use a 60 m2 room that can be adapted to suit your needs.
In the warm season there is a large terrace with dining facilities to enjoy, a natural garden landscape with benches and loungers, barbecue and fireplaces, a heated swimming pool, a mystical moorland lake with a rowing boat and much more. The Forester’s Lodge is available to hire only exclusively by one group of guests (two to eight people). A welcome drink, brunch and a four-course dinner with the hostess are included as standard.
The 60 m2 apartment on the first floor of the guesthouse is an oasis of well-being furnished with great attention to detail. In this gem, deceleration is not a promise but reality. The flat offers a small entrance, an exclusively equipped kitchen, as well as a spacious bathroom with bathtub and shower and a tasteful living-dining room. The bedroom spoils you with a luxurious bed that guarantees a restful sleep. A large wardrobe completes the ambience. Two small balconies invite you to sunbathe in the morning and in the evening. On the ground floor of the guesthouse there is a cozy wellness area equipped with a sauna, a steam bath, infrared deep heaters, a shower cabin, a massage couch, resting benches and a kitchenette. Here you can enjoy an undisturbed wellness in a private atmosphere and recover from the hectic of your everyday life.

The flat offers a small entrance hall, an exclusively equipped kitchen, as well as a spacious bathroom with bathtub and shower and a tasteful living/dining room.
The bedroom has a luxurious bed that guarantees a good night's sleep.
A large cloakroom completes the ambience. Two small balconies invite you to sunbathe in the morning and evening.
On the ground floor of the guest house there is a cosy wellness area equipped with a sauna, a steam bath, infrared heaters, a shower cubicle, a massage table, benches and a kitchenette. Here you can relax in a private atmosphere and feel far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The Marie-Therese room is approximately 25 m2 in size and faces the sunrise and swimming pool. The bathroom has a bathtub, shower and double washbasin.The room has a very special atmosphere.

Langenschlägerwald Forester’s Lodge
Since 1989, the Forester’s Lodge has been renovated in many stages by the Walser-Lazarini family. From then on, it has served as a beloved holiday home for the extended family and is Itha’s main residence.
In the past, Langenschlägerwald Forester’s Lodge was used as a hunting and forester’s lodge. It was inhabited by hunters, foresters, woodworkers and their families. The adjoining forest garden was run and maintained by the women.
In the pre-war years, two rooms in the house were still used as overnight accommodation for the rulers. During the period of occupation in 1945-1955 it was looted and then fell into disrepair.
In 1957-1960 the Forester’s Lodge and all the other derelict farm buildings were gradually restored.
After renovation once again in the 70s and after the subsequent retirement of the last ranger, the Forester’s Lodge became available for its new purpose and Itha Walser-Lazarini developed it into her personal idyll which she is pleased to share with guests.
