Your guests can 17 impressive bedrooms Each of the 17 impressive bedrooms have an individual character and design. The wood-panelled Jacobean Oak Room, the quirkiness of the Old Nursery, the Georgian elegance of Portico and the regal grandeur of the North Room are sure to guarantee a memorable experience for all guests.
The impressive bathrooms carry a delightful charm of their own – from walk-in marble showers and comfortable Drummonds roll-top baths, to spacious and uniquely decorative havens.
We have additional accommodation in our beautiful cottages and can accommodate over 100 people if required.

Avalon is our state-of-the-art Retreat and Wellbeing Centre where you can enjoy a stunning pool suite as well as holistic therapies, treatments and classes. There is also a heated outdoor pool, wild swimming, tennis court, fire temple, walking and cycling trails, woodland sauna and a 3,000 acre private sanctuary with a wealth of activity opportunities available from foraging to sweat lodges.
The surrounding Sanctuary is home to an innovative Nature Recovery Project and is a wondrous mix of heather moorland, ancient and newly planted woodland, rolling meadow pastures and meandering rivers.

Established in 1097, The Broughton Hall Estate has been home to the Tempest family for over 900 years and enjoys a rich history stretching back over the millennium. Designed by Andrew Nesfield the historic formal gardens studded with statues, ponds, parterres and fountains offer a glimpse of 18th century fashion.
The Tempests are one of England’s oldest Catholic landed gentry families. Roger Tempest, the current custodian of Broughton Sanctuary is the 32nd Tempest in a recorded line dating from the 11th century.
