The Colutta farm is located in the picturesque village of Manzano, in the renowned Colli Orientali del Friuli wine region, between the Alps and the Adriatic Sea.
Within the manor house, a number of cozy apartments offer a peaceful retreat from daily life, accompanied by the fragrances of the surrounding landscape and aromas that delight the senses.
Four uniquely styled apartments, each reflecting Friulian tradition and named after a local grape variety. They combine modern, functional furniture with antique pieces and offer air conditioning, TV, telephone, Wi-Fi and all modern comforts.
Thanks to its central location, guests can easily explore the beaches of Lignano Sabbiadoro, Grado, and Trieste, the mountains of Tarvisio, the Julian Alps, and the Carnic Dolomites, as well as charming towns like Udine, Gorizia, Aquileia, and Palmanova.

Life in the countryside…
Originally, grapes, corn, and mulberry trees were cultivated for silk production.
Completely renovated in 1999, the estate saw its old walls revealed and historic ceiling beams restored. A photovoltaic system and a wood-powered heating system, fueled by prunings from the estate, ensure energy self-sufficiency and environmental sustainability.
Today, the estate belongs to Giorgio Colutta, who is the third generation to run it with great passion.
The wine
Since 1939, high-quality wines have been sustainably produced on 23 hectares of vineyards in Buttrio, Manzano, and Rosazzo, and are sold worldwide. The wines have received significant awards.
The estate’s microclimate and hillside setting are perfect for producing wines of exceptional character, recognized internationally and acclaimed by prestigious magazines like Wine Spectator and Decanter.
The property is part of the vine and wine park "Parco della Vite e del Vino dei Colli Orientali del Friuli" and is located only 15 km from Udine.
