Lübbenow manor house – the insider tip in Gemanys Uckermark

The Lübbenow manor house has a wonderful tradition. A well-known noble family and later a lady of Berlin high society made the house a venue for famous artists. After the war, the Soviets wanted to blow up the building but the population protested loudly and prevented this from happening. The house was turned into a school. After the fall of the Berlin Wall, we restored the manor house as a meeting point for people who want to enjoy life in stylish ambience.

From the terrace and balcony, you have a magnificent view to the nearby partially silted-up lake and the riding arena. If you get up early, you can watch the unique bird- and wildlife in the surroundings of Lübbenow Manor. Next to the house, there is a covered terrace with a barbecue area for 36 guests. On the right-hand side, there is a large sports hall for indoor football, handball or basketball. -Also local dance- and other clubs like to use the sports hall. It includes a private indoor swimming pool that is always heated up to 26 degrees, with shower rooms and a sauna.

Manor house to rent: with ballroom for more than 36 people and a stage
The manor house has a large ballroom for more than 36 people with its own stage. This is where speeches are held or even musical pieces are presented. Theatre groups like to use it for rehearsals. On the same floor you will find the kitchen, where you can prepare the most beautiful meals for large groups.

On the lower floor of the manor house, there is a small bar, a room for table football and one for passionate chess players. On the second floor, you will find billiards and a TV room with a balcony. The entire house has 18 bedrooms with their own bathroom/toilet (except for one room).

Lübbenow is a well-known place for horse lovers. You can bring your own horses with you and stable them in the neighboring building of a large farm for little money. From here you can go on wonderful, endless rides. Lübbenow is also a good starting point for excursions to the lively city of Szczecin (45 minutes) or to the Baltic Sea. It takes an hour and three quarters to get to Berlin and three and a half hours to Hamburg.

Lübbenow manor house has been renovated in recent years and has since become an insider tip for gatherings of many families and friends who enjoy style and comfort.

We look forward to your visit.

History

The history of Lübbenow manor house

The village of Lübbenow was first mentioned at the beginning of the 14th century. In 1738, a baroque-style manor house was built at this place. However, the actual manor house, with its classical appearance, was not commissioned until around 1812 by the Stülpnagel-Gargitz family. The building was completed in 1826.

In addition to a few modifications over the years, the manor house was significantly expanded almost a hundred years after the foundation stone was laid. During this reconstruction, the beautiful round terrace at the back of the house was added, leading to the small park and the lake. After the Second World War, the demolition of the house by Soviet troops was just averted. During this time, the property served as a refugee home, and later as a school. The sports hall, which is still in use today, dates from this period.
