Villa San Liberale, close to the historic center of Feltre, one of the most extraordinary Alpine villages, where the culture and magnificence of Venice meet the myths and legends of the Dolomites, stands on the Cart Hill, in the best preserved part of the Viale di Cart, at the center of the densest system of Venetian Villas in an architectural and landscape context of great value. It offers guests five double/twin rooms and a suite consisting of a living room, double bedroom and twin bedroom, all with private bathroom. A suggestive wellness area set in the Belluno Flysch (Dolomite rock) has recently been created, and is equipped with a well-stocked honesty bar available at any time, with a wide range of local wines and beers. Paid services available on site such as massage, bike and electric car rental, charging point for electric cars.

Geschichte

A place for meetings, culture and Villa living

Villa San Liberale is a Venetian Villa built at the end of the 17th century around a pre-existing medieval building; it was inherited until the end of the 20th century, and was purchased and restored by the current owners starting in 2000, recovering the various buildings and the surrounding park, where an ancient vineyard was restored, in which resistant vines are grown. It is a private residence open to hospitality, and was a meeting and cultural place especially in the second half of the 19th century, when it was inhabited by Arnaldo Fusinato and Erminia Fuà (who published, posthumously, the works of Ippolito Nievo) and frequented by poets and writers such as Giosuè Carducci. Today it offers modern hospitality that is attentive to tradition and the genius loci, aiming to give guests a complete experience of these areas, already the scene of tragic events during the World Wars, but today a place of welcome among the UNESCO sites of the Dolomites, the Prosecco Hills and the MAB area of the Monte Grappa Massif.
